Gamma Promo Code

Gamma Promo Code Canada: Annual Billing Savings and Checkout Tips

If you're shopping from Canada, a Gamma promo code is one of two ways to pay less. The other is annual billing on the official pricing page, which the page says saves up to 28% compared with paying monthly. Gamma issues its own promo codes, and you enter one in the promo code field at checkout. The annual price is listed before you sign up, but a code only applies when you move from the Free plan to a paid plan for the first time.

Check which plan and billing cycle a Gamma coupon code covers before you rely on it. According to the Gamma help center, codes can't be used to switch between paid plans (Plus to Pro, for example), and only one code is allowed per purchase. Some codes are limited to certain plans or billing cycles, and some discounts apply to the first billing cycle only.

The pricing page lists prices per seat and notes that tax may apply depending on where you live. Rather than relying on the plan card, compare the total in the order summary at checkout. See Gamma pricing.

Comparing Gamma Promo Codes and Plan Prices

Annual billing and a promo code are separate discounts, and each one lowers a different part of the price.

• Start by comparing the monthly and annual price of the same plan. Plus costs $12 per seat per month on monthly billing, or $9 on annual billing ($108 per seat a year). Pro costs $25 monthly or $18 annually ($216 per seat a year).
• Look at the top plan on its own. Ultra is $100 per seat per month billed monthly, or $90 billed annually ($1,080 per seat a year), so its annual saving is smaller than on Plus or Pro.
• Then check the monthly credits. Plus includes 1,500, Pro includes 4,000 and Ultra includes 20,000, while the Free plan gives you 400 credits at signup.
• Use the order summary at checkout, after any code and tax, as your point of comparison.

That total shows which Gamma offer costs you the least for the number of decks, docs and sites you plan to create.

What to Check Before Subscribing to Gamma

Gamma plans renew on a recurring basis, so the terms for codes, seats, cancellation and refunds matter as much as the first price you see.

• Promo code eligibility: you can only redeem a code the first time you move from the Free plan to a paid plan, and codes are case sensitive.
• Seats: on the individual paid plans (Plus, Pro, Ultra), each additional seat is charged when a member accepts an invitation.
• Cancellation: go to Settings, then Billing, then Cancel subscription. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period, and the help center advises cancelling at least 30 days before the renewal date so you aren't charged for the next period.
• Refunds: Gamma only refunds within the first 3 days of subscribing to a paid plan, and only if you're under that plan's credit usage threshold. You need to request the refund through Customer Support.

Read the Gamma refund policy before you pay.

Why Your Gamma Promo Code May Not Work

A Gamma promo code can be valid and still fail to apply, since each code is tied to a specific plan, timing and account status.

• You already have a paid plan. Codes only work on the first move from the Free plan to a paid plan, not on upgrades between paid plans.
• The code belongs to a different plan or billing cycle. The help center says some codes apply only to specific plans or billing cycles.
• The code has expired or has already been redeemed.
• The code was entered in a different case. Gamma promo codes are case sensitive, so copy and paste it.
• You tried to add a second code. Only one promo code is allowed per purchase.

If the discount doesn't show in the order summary, don't complete the purchase. To add a code to an active subscription, contact Gamma support.

Gamma Promo Code Strategy for Canadian Shoppers

Start on the Free plan with the 400 signup credits, then choose a paid plan based on the monthly credits you'll actually use. If you plan to stay for a year, annual billing is the steady saving, up to 28% on Pro. Got a Gamma promo code? Apply it on your first upgrade from the Free plan, since it can't be added at checkout later, and check the discount in the order summary before you click Subscribe.
