The Ordinary Promo Code

The Ordinary Promo Code

The Ordinary sells to Canada through its Canadian store, where prices are shown in CAD. The main standing offer for Canadian shoppers is a 10% welcome offer: first-time customers who create an account and sign up for emails receive a one-time-use code. According to The Ordinary's offer terms, this welcome promotion runs from May 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, and it cannot be combined with other promotional discount offers.

Outside the welcome offer, The Ordinary runs promotions only during specific campaign periods, so a promo code that worked last month may not work today. Campaign terms usually exclude NIOD, Loopha and The Chemistry Brand products, and no promotion reduces taxes, shipping charges or gift cards. Check the exclusions before you build your cart around a headline offer.

The current welcome offer terms, the shipping table for Canada and the return policy are all listed in The Ordinary's Canadian FAQ.

The Ordinary Shipping and Duties to Canada

Orders placed on the Canadian store ship within Canada with UPS, and The Ordinary's shipping table lists Canada as a domestic shipment with no extra customs fees. That means no customs charges are expected on delivery.

• Shipping to Canada costs C$4.99.
• Orders over C$25 qualify for complimentary shipping.
• One shipping option is offered at this time, so there is no paid express upgrade to compare.
• In most cases, orders are fulfilled within 2 business days.
• The official delivery estimates are 2-5 for Canada East and 6-7 for Canada West.
• The holiday order cut-off listed for Canada is December 15.

Because the free-shipping threshold is low, check whether a small addition to your cart brings the subtotal over C$25 before you apply a code.

How to Compare The Ordinary Promo Codes and Sale Prices

The Ordinary rarely runs storewide sales, so compare the full cost of an order rather than the percentage alone.

• On a small order, reaching the C$25 complimentary shipping threshold can save more than a 10% code: 10% of a C$25 cart is C$2.50, while shipping is C$4.99.
• The welcome code is single-use, so it is worth saving for a larger first order rather than a single serum.
• Campaign codes only work inside their campaign window; check the start and end dates before checkout.
• Codes usually exclude NIOD, Loopha and The Chemistry Brand products, so a mixed cart may only be partly discounted.

The subtotal, shipping line and order total in your cart show what you will actually pay.

What to Check Before Ordering from The Ordinary in Canada

A few store policies affect the real value of any discount.

• Returns: unwanted products that are at least 50% full can be returned within 365 days of purchase. Items bought as a set must be returned in full, and shipping fees and Final Sale items are non-refundable.
• Payment: The Ordinary accepts all major credit cards, PayPal and credit card gift cards.
• Addresses: the billing and shipping addresses must be in the same country.
• Gift cards: digital gift cards are sold for Canada in CAD and cannot be used in stores.

Use the return terms and the final checkout total, not the headline discount, as the main comparison points.

How to Redeem a The Ordinary Promo Code

To redeem a The Ordinary promo code on the Canadian store, follow the steps below.

② Open your cart to review the items and the CAD subtotal.

③ In the Order Summary, find the "Promo Code" field and enter your code exactly as you received it.

④ Select "APPLY" and check that the discount appears as a separate line.

⑤ Confirm the shipping line: C$4.99, or complimentary on orders over C$25.

Why a The Ordinary Promo Code May Not Work

A code can be genuine and still fail on a specific order, because The Ordinary's terms are often narrower than the headline offer.

• The campaign period has ended or has not started yet.
• The cart contains NIOD, Loopha or The Chemistry Brand products, which campaign offers exclude.
• The one-time welcome code has already been used, or the account is not a first-time customer account.
• Another promotional discount is already applied; the welcome offer cannot be combined with other promotional offers.
• You expected the discount to cover taxes, shipping or gift cards, which promotions exclude.

Confirm the discount on the exact order before payment rather than assuming a code applies to everything in the cart.

In-Store Savings in Canada

The Ordinary also runs a consultation offer in select standalone stores, including stores in Canada. After an in-store consultation, shoppers can receive 10% off their purchase between February 26, 2026 and February 26, 2027. This offer is not a promo code and is not available online, so it cannot be used on the Canadian website.

The Ordinary Promo Code and Sale-Item Strategy

For Canadian shoppers, the most dependable saving is the one-time 10% welcome offer, used on a first order large enough to also clear the C$25 complimentary shipping threshold. After that, watch for campaign-period promotions, remembering that they usually exclude NIOD, Loopha and The Chemistry Brand. Because the store does not publish a year-round coupon code, checking the campaign dates and the order total before checkout is the simplest way to make sure a discount code actually lowers what you pay.
