The Ordinary Promo Code

The Ordinary Promo Code

The Ordinary keeps its prices low all year, so the savings available to Australian shoppers come from a small number of clear sources rather than constant sales. The main one is a 10% welcome offer: first-time customers who create an account on The Ordinary's website and sign up to emails receive a one-time discount code. The offer runs from 1 May 2026 to 31 March 2027, is limited to one redemption per customer, and the code can be used online or in-store towards the next purchase at The Ordinary.

On top of the welcome offer, The Ordinary publishes campaign promotions for set periods, and its promotion terms page lists the exact dates, eligible countries and exclusions for each one. Some of these campaigns are very short, so a code that appeared on social media last week may already have expired.

The standing saving is delivery: orders over A$30 ship free within Australia, and orders below that pay A$7.99. Before you enter any promo code, check that the offer is still running, that your cart only contains eligible items, and what the final total looks like after shipping.

The Ordinary Shipping and Duties to Australia

Shipping terms make a real difference on a skincare order that often costs less than a single designer item, so they are worth checking before you compare codes.

• Free shipping threshold: orders over A$30 ship free. Orders under A$30 pay a flat A$7.99 delivery fee.
• Local dispatch: Australian orders are shipped from DECIEM's local office in Australia, not sent internationally.
• Customs and duties: The Ordinary's customs table lists Australia as a domestic shipment with no extra fees, so there is no import charge to add on delivery.
• Processing time: in most cases orders are fulfilled within 2 business days.
• Carbon-neutral delivery: the Australian site states that shipping is carbon neutral on all orders.

Because the free-shipping threshold is low, adding one more serum to reach A$30 can be worth more than a small code on a very small basket.

The Ordinary Returns in Australia

The Ordinary's return policy is unusually long, but a few conditions affect how much of a discounted order you can get back.

• Products can be returned within 365 days of purchase, as long as they are at least 50% full.
• DECIEM does not provide or pay for return labels, so the return postage is at your own cost. Australian returns go to DECIEM's returns unit in Port Melbourne, Victoria.
• Shipping fees and products marked Final Sale are not refundable.
• There are no exchanges or store credit; you return the item and place a new order if you want something else.
• DECIEM aims to process refunds within 12 business days of receiving the returned product.

If you used a promo code, the refund reflects what you actually paid, so check the discounted line price on your order confirmation before sending anything back.

How to Compare The Ordinary Promo Codes and Sale Prices

The Ordinary rarely runs storewide sales, so look at the full cost of an order rather than the percentage alone.

• Check whether the welcome offer or a current campaign applies to your account and to the items in your cart.
• Confirm the promotion dates on the official terms page before entering a code at checkout.
• Remember that offers often exclude NIOD, LOOPHA and The Chemistry Brand products.
• Compare totals above and below the A$30 free-shipping threshold; on a small order the A$7.99 fee can outweigh a 10% saving.

The subtotal, discount and shipping lines in your cart show what you will actually pay in AUD.

How to Redeem a The Ordinary Promo Code

Why a The Ordinary Promo Code May Not Work

A code from The Ordinary can be genuine and still fail on a specific order, because the terms of each campaign are narrower than the headline offer.

• The promotion period has ended or has not started yet. Some campaign codes are valid for a single day only, such as an early-access code that ran on 24 September 2026.
• The cart contains NIOD, LOOPHA or The Chemistry Brand products, which are excluded from the offers.
• The welcome code is single-use and has already been redeemed on your account.
• Taxes, duties, shipping charges and gift cards are excluded from the discount.
• Another promotional offer is already applied and cannot be combined with it.

Confirm the discount on your exact order before paying rather than assuming a code applies to every product.

The Ordinary Gift Cards and In-Store Offers in Australia

Australia is one of the countries where The Ordinary sells digital gift cards. They are priced in AUD, with standard amounts of A$25, A$50, A$75 and A$100, or a custom value between A$10 and A$300. Gift cards are excluded from promotional offers, so a promo code will not reduce their price.

If you shop in person, The Ordinary's terms list an in-store consultation offer of 10% off your purchase at participating standalone stores, including the Melbourne store, running until 26 February 2027. Check the official terms for the current conditions before you visit.

The Ordinary Promo Code and Sale-Item Strategy

Because The Ordinary rarely releases public discount codes, the most reliable saving for Australian shoppers is the one-time welcome offer on a first order, followed by any campaign promotion that is live on the official terms page. Plan a first order so it clears A$30 for free delivery, keep NIOD, LOOPHA and The Chemistry Brand items in a separate order if a campaign excludes them, and use the 365-day return window only for products you have barely used, since return postage is not refunded.
