ASOS Promo Code Rules for Canadian Orders

Every ASOS offer has its own terms, but a few rules apply to every order shipped to Canada.

• You can use one code per order, and that includes codes for free delivery.
• Codes, including the student discount, do not apply to items sold by ASOS Brand Partners, to delivery charges or to gift vouchers.
• Type the code exactly as given, with no spaces, in the 'Promo/Student code' box and click 'Apply Code'. A code cannot be added once the order is placed.
• If you return items and the order no longer meets the code's conditions, your refund may be reduced or withheld.
• Codes sent by email can be locked to that email address, so sign in with the same ASOS account before checking out.

ASOS Duties and Sales Tax on Orders to Canada

ASOS's customer care page for Canadian customers says that orders under 20 CAD are tax and duty free. Above that amount, you pay the federal GST of 5%, or the HST in Ontario and the Atlantic provinces, plus duties and a 10.75 CAD Canada Post admin fee. ASOS does not pay these charges for you: you receive the E14 customs invoice and pay the sales tax, duty and handling fee before the parcel is released.

To help with these costs, the same page describes a 15% code for Canadian customers, CA15, entered in the 'Promo/ Student Code or Voucher' box at checkout. ASOS says it cannot predict your total tax, because it varies by province and, for duty, by product.
