Intelligentsia Coupon Code

Looking for an Intelligentsia coupon code? Intelligentsia is a direct trade coffee roaster that sells single origins, blends, espresso, Special Selections, Black Cat espresso capsules and brewing gear on intelligentsia.com. Savings come from coupon codes entered at checkout, a subscriber code that takes 20% off the first four subscription orders, and free shipping on U.S. orders of $49 and above.

Before applying a coupon code, note that Intelligentsia's FAQ says promotions cannot be applied retroactively to a previous order or to recurring subscription orders. Codes go in the "Discount code or gift card" field at checkout, and the discount shows on each item line and in the TOTAL SAVINGS line.

Free shipping applies to U.S. orders of $49 and above, and every subscription order ships free. Orders placed by 3PM CT roast and ship the following business day. Intelligentsia FAQs.

How to Compare Intelligentsia Coupon Codes and Sale Prices

Intelligentsia has a few ways to save, so compare them before you pay.

• Compare a one-time purchase with Subscribe & Save, which always ships free and lets you add more items to an upcoming order for 10% off.
• New subscribers can take 20% off the first four subscription orders with the code shown on the subscription page.
• Check the cart message that shows how far you are from free shipping over $49.
• Enter the code in the "Discount code or gift card" field at checkout and compare the Total and TOTAL SAVINGS lines.

The best choice depends on whether you buy one bag now or want coffee on a schedule.

What to Check Before an Intelligentsia Order

Coffee is roasted to order, so a few rules are stricter than at most stores.

• Coffee is perishable and cannot be returned. If there was an error or a quality concern, contact customersupport@intelligentsiacoffee.com within 30 days of purchase.
• Orders cannot be changed or canceled after they are placed, because each order is roasted and ground to its details.
• Grinders, kettles and anything that has been used cannot be returned.
• Special Selection coffees come only as whole bean in 7oz bags, roast on their own schedule and ship separately from the rest of the order.

Check the grind, size and quantity before you pay.

Why an Intelligentsia Coupon Code May Not Work

An Intelligentsia code can look valid and still not lower the Total.

• Promotions cannot be applied to recurring subscription orders.
• A code cannot be added to an order that has already been placed.
• The subscriber code only covers the first four subscription orders, not a one-time purchase.
• The promotion behind a code shared online has ended.
• The code was typed with a space or a wrong character.

Read the message under the code field and check the Total before you pay.

Intelligentsia Coupon Code & Sale-Item Strategy

For a one-time order, apply a checkout code and bring the cart to $49 for free U.S. shipping. If you drink the same coffee every month, start a subscription with the 20% code for the first four orders, since later recurring orders cannot take a promotion but always ship free. Compare the Total at checkout before you pay.
