PetSmart Promo Code

PetSmart Promo Code

A PetSmart promo code is only one of several ways to save at petsmart.ca. Many online discounts on the Canadian site apply automatically to your order, while offers that need a code are entered in the "Promo Code" box in your cart. PetSmart notes that all promo codes are case sensitive, so type a code exactly as it appears in the offer.

Canadian shoppers can also save through Autoship, which takes a percentage off the first scheduled order and a smaller percentage off every recurring order, and through Treats Rewards, PetSmart's free loyalty program that unlocks member shipping and points on purchases. Sitewide Extra Savings offers are valid on select sale and online prices and require a promotional code at checkout.

Because these savings work differently, the best approach is to compare them on the same cart before you pay. Check the product's eligibility, the end date of any promotion and the discount shown in your order summary.

PetSmart Autoship Savings in Canada

Autoship is usually the largest regular saving on petsmart.ca for food, litter and other supplies you reorder. PetSmart Canada offers 25% off your first Autoship order, up to a maximum saving of $30, and 5% off recurring Autoship orders.

• You must be signed in to your Treats Rewards account to receive the Autoship discount.
• The saving is applied automatically and shows in your shopping cart, so no PetSmart promo code is needed.
• Some brands run higher first-order Autoship offers for a limited time.
• Brand-specific Autoship offers have their own end dates, so check PetSmart's Promotional Terms page before you set up the order.

If you buy the same food every month, compare the Autoship first-order saving with any one-time code. The 5% recurring discount keeps working after the first order, which a single-use code does not.

PetSmart Shipping in Canada

Delivery terms on petsmart.ca are set specifically for Canadian addresses, so check them before you count on free shipping.

• Treats Rewards members get free standard shipping on select orders over $49. You must be signed in before you buy, and the order total is measured before taxes and after discounts are applied.
• Most standard shipping orders arrive within 2-3 days. Deliveries to New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Yukon and the Northwest Territories may take longer.
• PetSmart does not offer shipping to Quebec.
• Free same-day delivery is available in most areas on eligible products, with exclusions.

Because the $49 threshold is calculated after discounts, a PetSmart coupon code can push a cart back below the free shipping level. Check the order total after the code is applied.

Treats Rewards Points and Member Perks

Treats Rewards is free to join and works alongside promo codes and Autoship.

• You earn 10 points per $1 spent on merchandise and services.
• Every 1,000 points equals $2 in savings that can be redeemed on merchandise and services for your pet.
• Completing your profile earns 1,000 points.
• Members receive a birthday or Gotcha Day gift for their pet and members-only in-store pricing.
• Points redeemed toward an item are forfeited if that item is returned.

Signing in before you shop matters, because member shipping, Autoship savings and points all depend on your Treats Rewards account.

How to Redeem a PetSmart Promo Code

To redeem a PetSmart promo code on petsmart.ca, follow the steps below.

① Sign in to your Treats Rewards account so member offers can apply.

② Add the eligible items to your cart and open the cart.

③ Type your code in the "Promo Code" box and click "Apply".

④ Enter one code at a time. Using multiple promotional codes might void promotions that have already been applied.

⑤ Check that the discount appears in your order summary before you continue to checkout.

All codes and points must be redeemed online at the time of the initial order, so they cannot be added to an order after it has been placed.

Why a PetSmart Promo Code May Not Work

When a code is rejected, the cause is usually in the offer terms rather than the code itself.

• Percentage and dollar-off offers are valid on eligible products only, and exclusions may apply.
• Offers may not be combinable with other promotions, offers or discounts already in your cart.
• A second code was added and voided a promotion that had already been applied.
• The code was typed with the wrong capitalization, and PetSmart promo codes are case sensitive.
• The offer has passed its end date, or it was entered after the order was placed.

For Canadian customers, sales tax, where applicable, is collected on the price after the coupon value is deducted, so the tax line in your summary should drop with the discount.

Returns, Price Match and Payment Options

Return and payment rules affect how much a discounted order really saves.

• Items bought online can be returned in their original packaging for the purchase price, minus shipping, handling, gift wrap and other charges.
• Prescription medication cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Purchases made with Afterpay can only be returned in stores.
• If you find an identical, in-stock item at a lower price from a competitor, PetSmart will match it. Marketplaces, clearance and BOGO prices, pets and services are not included.
• PetSmart.ca accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, PayPal and gift cards.

Before choosing a payment method, keep in mind that the way you pay can change where you are able to return the item later.
