SimOptions Promo Code
SimOptions is a marketplace for prepaid travel eSIMs in more than 200 destinations, so savings show up in two places: a storewide promo code you add before paying, and reduced plan prices on each destination page. On the USA page, for example, the United States 1GB plan is listed at US$1.50 instead of US$2.50, and the 5GB plan at US$5.90 instead of US$8.50.
Before you apply a SimOptions promo code, check the plan details: data amount, validity, whether calls and SMS are included, and the coverage. Most SimOptions eSIMs are data only, and each plan card lists "Calls & SMS", "Validity" and "Coverage" so you can compare like for like.
Your eSIM arrives by email a few minutes after you pay, and SimOptions says it cannot cancel or refund an order once the eSIM has been delivered, except when it cannot be activated because of a technical problem on its side or its network partner's. SimOptions FAQ.
How to Compare SimOptions Promo Codes and Sale Prices
A SimOptions discount can come from a promo code or from a reduced plan price, and the right choice depends on how much data you need.
- Compare the price per plan, not only the percentage. On the USA page the 1GB plan for 3 days is US$1.50 (was US$2.50), the 3GB plan for 3 days is US$3.50 (was US$4.90) and the 5GB plan for 7 days is US$5.90 (was US$8.50).
- Check the validity. The plan starts counting when your phone first connects to a network in a country the plan covers, not when you buy or install it.
- Look at top-ups. Most SimOptions eSIMs can be topped up on the same eSIM, so a smaller plan plus a top-up can cost less than a large plan you will not use.
- Pick the checkout currency at the top of the page. SimOptions says prices and checkout use the currency you choose there.
This shows whether the promo code or a reduced plan price gives the lowest cost for your trip.
What to Check Before a SimOptions Order
An eSIM cannot be returned once it is delivered, so check these points before you pay.
- Phone compatibility: dial *#06#. If your phone shows an EID number, it supports eSIM. It also needs to be unlocked.
- Email address: the eSIM is sent to the email you enter, and SimOptions cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address.
- Calls and SMS: most plans are data only with no phone number. Bouygues Telecom eSIMs for Europe include a French (+33) number.
- Expiry: if you never use the eSIM, it expires after the time shown on the plan page, which is 1 year on the USA plans.
No ID or passport is needed to buy, only an email address.
How to Redeem a SimOptions Promo Code
To use a SimOptions promo code, follow the steps below.

â‘ On the SimOptions home page, type your destination into the "Where do you need internet ?" search bar.
â‘¡ Compare the plans on the destination page. Reduced plans show the old price crossed out, such as United States 1GB at US$1.50 instead of US$2.50.

â‘¢ Tap "Buy now" on the plan you want.
â‘£ Pick a payment method. SimOptions accepts cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB), PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

⑤ Read the cancellation terms before paying: once the eSIM is delivered by email it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except for a technical activation problem.
â‘¥ Check the currency in the header. Prices and checkout use the currency you pick there.
Add the promo code before you pay and check that the total drops before confirming the order.
Why a SimOptions Promo Code May Not Work
A SimOptions code can be real and still not lower your total, because each code has its own terms.
- The code has expired or was replaced by a newer one.
- The code was typed with a different spelling or an extra space.
- You are comparing the code against a plan that is already reduced. Check the total before and after adding the code.
- You changed the currency after adding the code. Pick the currency first, then add the code.
- The order was already paid. A code cannot be added after the eSIM has been delivered.
If a code fails, contact SimOptions through its contact form or at contact@simoptions.com before you pay.

SimOptions Promo Code & Plan Strategy
Start with the plan that matches your trip, and check the reduced plan prices on the destination page first, then add the promo code before you pay and confirm the total drops. Install the eSIM at home on Wi-Fi a day or two before you fly, since the plan only starts when you connect in a covered country, and top up the same eSIM if you run low instead of buying a larger plan up front.
