Gilt Promo Code

Gilt Promo Code Singapore: Save on Designer Flash Sales

A Gilt promo code can stretch your budget further on the site's flash sales, which cover designer fashion, accessories and home goods and close within days. Gilt advertises up to 70% off selected designers, and new members get an automatic 10% off their first order, up to $20, provided they complete a purchase within seven days of creating an account. Singapore shoppers can access Gilt's international shopping service to take advantage of these offers.

Before relying on a code, sign up or log in, as Gilt requires an account before you can browse. A Gilt discount code is entered at checkout, many codes are sent by email to selected members for a limited period, and most cannot be stacked with other discounts.

Gilt's standard delivery rate and shipping structure vary by destination. For full details on shipping options and fees applicable to your order, check the Gilt shipping overview on the merchant's site.

How to Compare Gilt Promo Codes and Sale Prices

On Gilt, the sale price does most of the work, so compare the full order total rather than the discount badge alone.

• Check the end time of each sale, as Gilt sales typically close within a few days.
• Compare the sale price with the original price shown on the product page.
• Factor in any applicable shipping charge, or the free standard shipping new members receive on purchases within 30 days of signing up.
• New members should weigh the automatic 10% first-order discount against any emailed code, since the two cannot be combined.

The order total at checkout is the only figure that shows what you actually save.

What to Check Before a Gilt Order

Gilt's return terms are stricter than those of many department stores, so read them before you buy.

• Returns must be sent within 21 days from the date of shipment, unworn and with all original tags and packaging intact.
• A return for merchandise credit comes with free return shipping, while a refund to your original payment method carries an $11.99 return fee.
• Items marked final sale or non-returnable cannot be returned.
• Some items ship directly from the vendor's warehouse and may have restrictions on eligible delivery addresses.

Deciding whether you want credit or a refund before you buy prevents the return fee from reducing your saving.

Why a Gilt Promo Code May Not Work

Gilt codes are often personal and time-limited, which is the most common reason they fail.

• Many Gilt promo codes are valid for specific recipients only and cannot be transferred to another account.
• Emailed codes expire at the end of their promotional period, often 10 days from the date of the first email.
• Most Gilt promotions cannot be combined with other discounts or offers.
• The new member discount applies only to a first order placed within seven days of creating an account.
• Gift card purchases, sales tax and shipping charges are excluded from most discounts.

If a code fails, check the email it arrived in for the expiry date and any eligible item restrictions.

Gilt Promo Code and Sale-Item Strategy

The best savings on Gilt come from timing. Check which sales are ending soonest, and place your first order within seven days of signing up so the automatic new member discount applies. A Gilt promo code sent by email is worth checking against that new member offer, since only one can be used per order. If you plan several orders within a month, paying the standard shipping fee once to start Gilt Unlimited means the rest ship free, and opting for merchandise credit on returns avoids the $11.99 refund fee.
